Benjamin Solomowitz, DMD
Dental Anesthesiologist
Dr. Solomowitz earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Boston University. He then did both a General Practice Residency and an externship in Anesthesiology at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Solomowitz has performed Sedation Dentistry in New York City for over 30 years and provides IV sedation for root canal treatments in our office. He has published a host of articles and currently serves as Associate Director of the General Practice Residency program at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens and as an Assistant Attending Professor at the New York Methodist Hospital’s Division of Dental Medicine. He also practices in our New York City offices Sedation Dentistry; that is getting general dentistry services while asleep. Routine general dentistry services without sedation is not available at this location.
Dr. Solomowitz holds a New York State Certification to use General Anesthesia and Parenteral Sedation and is trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
